I Heart Her Face--Easter Pic

I posted a couple of cute Easter pics of my other children below, but I love this one of my baby girl, because it's a great pose and it is clearly Easter. I am submitting it to the Easter Edition of I heart faces photography competition this week. I had a bit of difficulty in editing her face since it is a bit shadowed by the hat, and would love any input you have to offer.

Precious! I even think her face looks perfect...no shadows. This picture looks so Easter-y! What a pretty skirt and bonnet! Happy Easter!

I think this photo is absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure what photo program you use. My sister was using a free action from MCP Actions (for Photoshop) called Touch of Light that she found is perfect when you've got a face that is a bit shadowed. If you have Photoshop, it's worth checking out. I think you did a really good job with whatever you used to edit the photo, because her face doesn't look shadowed.

The face looks fine to me. And what a great skirt...did she spend a lot of time twirling? I would have!

I love the way the shape of the hat and the shape of the skirt reflect one another.

When I get a dark face (under a hat, or something) I up the fill light a bit and that usually takes care of it. I use Picasa for editing, atm, but I imagine most any editor would have that option. I don't know if that's considered "correct", but it works for me till I find a better way!

LOVE the skirt, you should get a picture of her twirling in it. I think her face looks fine, no shadows. I also like how her body is positioned in the pose. Great photo.
